A creator marketplace rebuilt from the ground up
Complete rebuild of a multi-vendor marketplace where every creator opens a shop, sells with no stock through print on demand, and offers personalisable products to their buyers.

A marketplace for content creators
Swyty lets creators open an official shop and sell merchandise with no stock and no upfront cash. The promise fits in the line you find on the site: create, sell, we handle the rest.
The platform now hosts dozens of shops across eleven product worlds, from fashion to handmade. Each creator runs their own catalogue while production and logistics stay centralised.
Three businesses inside one platform
Swyty layers three models: a marketplace with its shops and commissions, a print-on-demand service, and a personalisation option open to the end buyer. Each has its own rules; making them coexist on a generic base means stacking exceptions.
On top of that sits a creator-side requirement: opening a shop and publishing products with no technical skill, no starting budget and no stock to manage.
A platform rebuilt from scratch on Laravel
The legacy version had been extended to its limit. We replaced it with a Laravel + Inertia foundation where personalisation and creator payouts are part of the model rather than working around it.
Per-creator shops
Every creator gets an official shop with its own URL, catalogue and identity. Vendor filtering is built into product pages, so buyers can browse by product world or by creator.
Automated payouts via Stripe Connect
Every creator gets a connected account: commission is taken and the balance paid out automatically on each sale. No manual reconciliation, and no upfront cash from the creator.
Real-time personalisation with Fabric.js
Buyers compose their product on a canvas and see it update immediately. Manufacturing constraints — printable areas, formats, resolution — are enforced during composition, preventing orders that cannot be produced.
Built-in mockup management
Every confirmed configuration produces the visuals it needs: a product-page preview on one side, a production file on the other — where the previous version required manual preparation within 24 to 72 hours.
The technologies we chose
Laravel and Inertia.js for the application core and business domain, Vue.js for the interface, Fabric.js for the personalisation engine, and Stripe Connect for multi-vendor payments and payouts.

A marketplace whose limits are no longer technical
The new platform is not live yet — swyty.com still serves the previous version. It replaces the old foundation’s workarounds with a model where personalisation and payouts are native.
